The Winland EAPro WMFT is a wireless multi-function transmitter accessory for the EnviroAlert Professional Gateway, built to bridge a wired probe sensor onto the wireless network for monitoring temperature, the presence of water, and more. Unlike Winland's standalone wireless sensors, it is not a standalone device — it requires a separate wired sensor to function, with a maximum sensor cable run of 1,000 feet and an indoor wireless transmission distance of roughly 500 feet back to the gateway. It's powered by two AA alkaline batteries and/or a 12-24V DC transformer, and because the probe (rather than the transmitter electronics) does the sensing, it is the path Winland recommends for monitoring coolers, freezers, and other environments its standalone wireless sensors can't be placed in. It remains for indoor use only.
