This Weldex dome camera is built in a rugged, weatherproof housing for continuous indoor or outdoor surveillance, with a wide-angle lens for broad area coverage from a single mounting point. It uses wide dynamic range imaging and digital noise reduction to maintain a usable picture in high-contrast or low-light conditions, and the dome form factor makes the camera's exact aim harder to determine at a glance compared to a bullet or box camera. Armordome-branded models in this family add a reinforced housing for vandal-prone indoor locations. Model WDP-80D2MV specifically ships with 12mm lens, white housing, 2MP resolution.
