This Weldex vari-focal, auto-iris CS-mount lens is built for 1/3" format surveillance cameras that need an adjustable field of view rather than a fixed one, letting an installer dial in the right angle of view on site instead of swapping lenses. It uses a metal lens housing and stainless-steel thread rather than plastic parts, with a 10-layer optical design for a sharper image than a standard 8-layer lens, and the auto-iris function automatically compensates for changing light levels. Set screws for angle-of-view and focus lock the adjustment in place so the lens won't drift out of focus after installation. Model WDL-550AD specifically ships with 50mm lens.
