Netgear WAC510 Overview

Boost the wireless capacity of corporate or public-access venues with the WAC510 Insight Managed Smart Cloud Wireless Access Point from Netgear. This package includes three WAC510 units. Capable of up to 1.3 Gb/s of total data throughput, the dual-band WAC510 Wi-Fi access point comes equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet WAN port that supports PoE+, plus a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port.

Multi-user MIMO technology allows for multiple simultaneous data streams, while bandsteering helps the access point direct wireless clients to the least congested frequency band. The WAC510 can be mounted on a wall or ceiling. Please note that a power adapter is not included.

Internal Antenna

The WAC510's internal 2x2 antenna supports 2 streams of data (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) for an aggregate throughput of up to 1.2 Gb/s.

Multi-User MIMO Technology

Helps to avoid congestion and boost performance in high-density deployments, such as public Wi-Fi hotspots.

PoE Support

Support for PoE (Power over Ethernet) on the WAN port allows for the transmission of data and power over a single cable, which helps to ease deployment.

Device Detection

Allows the access point to identify the type of wireless clients in the network.

One-Touch Network Visibility

The Netgear Insight app and Cloud Portal allow for easy network setup, as well as remote management and monitoring. The Insight app also allows you discover select wired and wireless devices from your local or remote network.
