This Genesis 4511104Y 16/2 solid unshielded plenum fire alarm cable comes as 1000 ft (304.8 m) on a reel with a red with yellow stripe jacket. It is the kind of cable run from a fire alarm panel out to the initiating and notification circuits throughout a building. Plenum-rated cable is the type used in air-handling spaces such as the void above a drop ceiling. The striped jacket helps tell circuits apart at the panel.
